Introducing Daze
You and me have been disappointed with shipping before. Whether it’s all of those “Sorry we missed you” notes on your door, or a terrible returns experience, we have all been there.
When launching Daze last winter, our goal was to provide a label-free, box-free returns experience directly at your doorstep, regardless of where you purchased the item. However, to offer this magical experience at an affordable price, we needed significant consumer adoption.
Early on, we noticed that shoppers using Daze fell in love with the service and started frequenting our pickups. When we talked with these customers, they mentioned that the convenience of doorstep return pickups made them more confident in their online shopping. They no longer had to deal with the tedious part of returns - packaging, printing and finding dropoffs. The customer was at the helm, with returns happening when and where they wanted.
That's when we realized the key. To make doorstep returns common and affordable, we started offering this service to brands so they could provide it to their customers. We believe that by eliminating friction from the shopping experience, brands will cultivate more loyal, high-value customers.
That belief proved accurate. Among our merchant partners, we've seen a 22% boost in spending among shoppers who used Daze compared to those who returned items through other methods (post offices, parcel lockers, in-store). We saw additional opportunities to expand our services at those same doorsteps.
Today, we deliver packages from your favorite brands, pick up returns if they don’t work out, and handle the pickup, packaging, and shipping of items you've sold on second-hand marketplaces.
We even enable new, circular business models such as location-agnostic rentals by delivering and picking up rented items. We're becoming a one-stop shop for all your shipping needs.
Our vision is to become Prime Shipping for the new generation of e-commerce. To realize this vision, we have built an incredible team of people passionate about software and logistics.
